Our History
CET’s roots go back to the mid-1990’s, when our family (David & Julia Kautt, Joel, Abby, Caleb, Phoebe, Johanna and Jaden) started looking for answers related to the Creation vs. Evolution topic. Julia found Ken Ham’s book: The Lie: Evolution. She was amazed at the answers Mr. Ham gave, and the logical reasoning he used to defend the Biblical account of creation against secular humanistic and evolutionary arguments.
Our family later had the chance to hear several Creationist speakers, including Dr. G. Thomas Sharp, Dr. John Morris & Mr. Ken Ham. It was a lecture by Ken Ham’s in 2005 that really lit the passion for Creation Apologetics in the parents & especially the six children.
Since then we have been building a large collection of materials covering the creation vs. evolution debate. We want to better equip our family, and many others with ready and reasonable answers for anyone who asks us, just as 1 Peter 3:15 commands every Christian to do.
In July & August 2008, we opened a small Creation Apologetics library at the church where David serves as preaching minister. Coinciding with the opening of the library, David preached a series on the Seven C’s of History.
Our desire to minister to others in a more formal way finally became reality. In October 2008, we officially started our family ministry, which we named Creation Evangelism Tools. We now have a website, have just published our fourth issue of our bi-monthly email newsletter (November/December 2009), have sponsored two creation conference, and have plans for many other projects.
We want to do God’s will and let Him lead us wherever He thinks best for His Kingdom. All glory goes to God!

Our Goals
The Lord willing, we plan to develop our website with articles, resource reviews, podcasts, links to other ministries websites, and through a resource page with items produced by other creation ministries for sale.
We also plan to produce and distribute our own materials such as DVD’s, audio CD’s, tracts and pamphlets.
We look forward to opportunities to minister through resource booths at conventions and conferences and in speaking engagements as the Lord opens doors in these areas.
